Melissa Bajric... Appearing Courtesy of Drover Music, this Multi award-winning
singer/songwriter has carved her mark in Australian Country
Music. At just 16 years of age she stepped into the studio to work with Golden
Guitar winning producer Lindsay Butler and released her debut album on the
Drover Music label. Ten years later and with three successful albums
under her belt, the petite singer has produced a
number of international top 10 songs, several video
clips that have hit CMC's top 50, numerous industry
awards including Recording Artist Of the Year, a placement on the Wall Of
Honour, and a coveted TSA songwriting award.
Charley Boyter...
Charley has played guitar for many years and backed
just about anyone who has been on a “Country Stage”. Today Charley is honoured to have won several awards for his
music and is recognised as one of Australia's greatest Bush Ballad pickers. In
2011 Charley will be inducted into the National Traditional Country Music Hall
of Fame in America.
Charley is a multi-award winning artist and his unique acoustic guitar
sound can be heard on some Aussie Classics such as Walk a Country Mile, Country
Revival, Duncan and Leave him in the Longyard.
Peter Coad and the Coad Sisters... Peter Coad (originally part of the popular Coad Bros), and his
sisters Virginia and Lynette (Coad Sisters), are Peter Coad & the Coad Sisters, full time entertainers with over 20 years experience working in the
music industry. Their style is Traditional
Country style Music, Ballads, Originals, Standards, Yodelling, touching on
Contemporary Music, Irish and other influences, with a bit of Bush Poetry and
Comedy thrown in as well.
Bob
Easter... Appearing courtesy of Drover Music, born
and bred a Hunter Valley lad, Bob epitomises the heart and spirit of
Australian country. In the year 2000 Bob recorded his first Bush Ballad album
on the Drover Music label. Now with a 30 year career behind him, countless
industry awards including a place on the Wall Of Honour, and with three
Lindsay Butler produced albums in hand; Bob continues to travel throughout
Australia performing his traditional style of country music. To
quote master producer Lindsay Butler "Bob's country is pure bush
ballad, and no one does the songs of Slim, Coster, Lawson and Co better than
he."
Terry Gordon...Terry’s versatility as a balladeer, songwriter, bush poet,
comedy performer and TV host has established him as one of CM's finest
entertainers. During a career of continuous travel, he has criss-crossed the
length and breadth of Australia literally dozens of times. Terry has performed
in all kinds of venues - from weather-beaten tents to the most modern TV
studios and entertainment centres. On stage he has worked alongside such local
CM legends as Tex Morton, Chad Morgan, Slim Dusty and just about all the greats

Keith Jamieson and
Alisha Smith... have done several tours around Australia taking in
Old time
country halls, clubs, caravan parks and aboriginal communities in the
Northern Territory and the Kimberley and out into the desert country,
Taking
their music to the people, Keith with his bush ballad brand and Alisha
with her special easy flowing style of country guitar as taught to her by the
late Barry Thornton, the father of the bush ballad lead guitar and that special
sound behind the late Slim Dusty for many years.
They have
several CDs to their credit , the latest being Rhythm n Rhyme which is
shared with their daughter Caitlyn Jane. Keith and Alisha have won several
awards over the years and Keith has had many songs recorded by other
artists, including the late Slim Dusty.
Their
biggest reward is their fans that come and support their shows as they travel around Australia.
Both hope to keep writing, recording and touring for many years to come.
Brian Letton...
In 1989, Brian began his professional career as a full time entertainer,
after a decade working as a part time musician with various local bands.
Brian writes and sings of his country and his fellow man with a rare
feeling. He writes of the things he
knows, understands, loves and believes in.
Overall Brian is the most successful Stan Coster Memorial Bush Ballad
winner with 12 Awards to his credit.
Brian is a favorite at Bungendore and always has the crowd on their feet
waving the Australian flag for the finale song “You did us proud”.
Tom Maxwell... There is little doubt that Tom Maxwell is one of the leading
forces, in today's crop of young Balladeers. Through hard work and sheer
determination he has carved his niche in Australian Country Music and has seen
his fan base and popularity explode in recent times. Tom is an accomplished
entertainer who has released 8 successful albums, made the finals of many of
Australia's major Awards and now spends much of his time on the road performing
his style of music to his many fans .
Norma O'Hara Murphy...
Singer/Songwriter and Gold Guitar winner, Norma is back after being off
the scene for a few years.This wonderful Aussie Singer/Songwriter has returned to the recording
studio in Sydney, and completed album number ten, “Whiskey Gully Road”
featuring 11 new tracks, with some of Oz best musicians. With nine other albums
under her belt, Norma has certainly made her mark in the Australian
country/folk scene. Norma will be touring again in 2011, planning more albums.This classic Aussie artist has been sorely missed!
Dean Perrett is one of the leading artists on the traditional side of
Australian Country Music, having established himself as one of bush
balladry’s shining singer/songwriters with strong lyrics and catchy
melodies for songs written from Dean’s experiences in the cattle
industry.
Graham Rodger... Over
the past four years, Graham Rodger has established himself as one of the most
respected and talented cutting edge Australian country music artist of the
twenty-first century. He's released seven albums and is always in demand to cut
another album from his keen fans. Graham has collected a swag of major awards and
has also been a Golden Guitar finalist six times making him in the Top Five
Artists in his category.
